Shopping Shopping Shopping

So, I have been doing an insane amount of shopping lately, and it's one of those things that you absolutely love to do but when you get home you kick yourself in the ass because you spent an enormous amount of money on things that you more than likely did not need. I however, cannot learn my lesson and it's becoming a bit of a problem. Whatevs, YOLO so I believe that you should always look you're best ;) But atleast I've been shopping for good reasons such as prom and my trip to Cancun!!! Today, finally after looking for the past month, I found the perfect shoes to go with my dress. They're Jessica Simpson baby blue peep-toe with like a cork bottom! Absolutely freaking adorbs. Andddd, because I was nervous that the color wasn't quite right...I had to buy a cute pair of yellow Steve Madden sandals just in case ya know :)

So besides spending all of my money on shoes, I've been buying tons of new things for my Cancun trip, which I will be leaving for in two weeks and three days! I am beyond excited! I need a vacation more than anything and there's nothing better than spending it on a 90 degree beach looking at the beautiful ocean and having someone wait on you hand and foot. There's another huge plus, I get to miss a whole week of school :) But enough on that, I can't spoil everything because I plan on doing another blogpost on this before I leave. Ps. I will never stop shopping for cute dresses and shirts. #addicted to the new forever21

Montgomery Gentry Rodeo

So lastnight I went to the SRC Arena at OCC with Anthony and June to see the Professional Bullriders of America and the Mongomery Gentry concert. It was amazingggggg! The rodeo was nothing like the one that I went to in Arizona but I mean hey, it's New York so you can never really expect anything to live up to anything in Arizona. Out of thirty two riders less than half of them qualified by staying on the bucking bull for more than eight seconds. But whatevs. It wasn't until Jerry said 'when the buzzer goes off at eight seconds they can get off" that I connected that and Jake Owen's song, Eight Second Ride, together. Anyways, instead of trying to see over everyone else to look at guys staying on bulls for a whole .2 seconds, I played peek-a-boo with a little mexican girl in front of me. She was the cutest thing i have ever seen! ...until she began to pick her nose and eat it. Gross. There were tons of cowboys and cowgirls dressed up in boots, plaid shirts and belts. So many people looked the part, including me. But after the "rodeo" was over, the real fun began.

Montgomery Gentry <3

They were so good! After the rodeo was over they took down the fence from the bulls and rolled the dirt so that we were able to stand right up to the stage. It was crazy! As soon as everyone realized that we could go up and the first row was open to first come first serve, it turned into a zoo. Even though we didn't sprint, we still ended up in the seventh row back and the view was great. They sound exactly like they do on the radio. The crowd wasn't a huge mosh pit or anything but of course we had to be standing next to a group of seven guys who weren't of the legal drinking age so were passing around Mountain Dew bottles filled with beer and acting like complete assholes. Plus they wouldn't stop begging these two girls in front of us to get on their shoulders so at one point i said 'how about you leave the poor girls alone and get on each others shoulders', not actually thinking they would...and well...I was wrong. So then my great view was blocked by drunk idiots until the one guy fell off. However the concert was worth it. I guess it's true, they truely do save the best for last.

Procrastination & Supernatural

Procrastination, we have all been guilty of it once or twice. Me though, I'm guilty of it on a daily basis. Kinda like right now, I'm watching Supernatural instead of doing homework that I've had a whole eight days to do. I promised myself last Friday that spring break would be different and I wouldn't wait until the last minute to do everything like I always do, but apparently I lied. I just finished one AP packet though :) I guess that's a start to getting to bed at a somewhat decent time tonight. I cannot stop watching Supernatural. That's been a huge problem this week, Supernatural and work. So it's not like I have been sitting home sleeping until noon everyday (because I have only done that three times this week) I cleaned the house and worked Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night, and I would take those as legit excuses for not doing work. But, I'm paying for it now I tell ya. Anywayyysssss, Supernatural! This show is the biggest culprit of my work not being done. It's one of those shows where you tell yourself you'll just watch one more episode and then do work, but come on now, lets not be silly, you know you'll always watch more. WOW! I have no idea how else to describe it. Some of the episodes are so scary that, don't laugh, I actually had to pull my blanket up over my head. So where do I start, with muh boy of course, Dean Winchester: oh my god can you say GORGEOUS?! He's the older brother of Sam who isn't so unfortunate looking either. Together these two borthers crisscross the country and kill yep you guessed it, Supernatural beings. There's more to the story of course, it all started because their mother was murdered and there's lots of other things intertwined. I'm mad at myself for not giving into watching this alot sooner.
